Munch & Learn: The Heart of the Journey: Supporting Patients and Families through Transition

We are excited to invite you to a special Munch & Learn training on anticipatory grief in patients with serious illness on August 20, 2026 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm HST. This training will be presented by Veronica “Ronnie” Hee, M.S.W., L.S.W. and the Kaiser Permanente Palliative Care team.

Join us to expand understanding and awareness of the unique contributions that social workers make in the interdisciplinary care of persons facing a serious illness. This session is virtual and at no cost. Please see the attached flier for registration information.

The PEACE Program, Promoting Engagement, Aloha, & Compassion in the Everyday Care of People Facing Serious Illness, is a continuing training series for social workers and others who are interested in developing their knowledge, understanding, and skills in working with individuals and families who are experiencing serious illness. This includes a focus on the unique contributions that professional social workers provide as members on the interprofessional palliative team.
